Personal Comment:
This is a drawing of one of the characters from the popular NBC show "The Office" (Dwight K. Shrute). I choose to draw this character in particular because he has, to me, the most interesting shaped and proportioned face. I wanted a challenge so I liked that he was wearing glasses because that is something I'm not used to in portrait drawings.
Materials: Construction paper, Graphite sticks, charcoal, shading sticks, art pencils.

Drawing of Abraham Lincoln (Art 1-2)
I always enjoy working from old photographs and blurry images, (like the source of this one was), because I feel like as you are drawing you are discovering the photo on the paper. The photo you end up with through drawing is always much more intense and vivid than the photo you drew it from.
